Our Approach
At Jaspers Engineering, we have a structured approach for every service, including Process Engineering. This process begins with identifying the client’s needs. What are the expected outcomes? When will the client be satisfied? And what are the User Requirement Specifications? Cleaning requirements and Hygiene Risk Analysis play a significant role in this phase. Next, we create a Process Flow Diagram (PFD) with initial specifications. We also determine the materials and components.
Once the PFD is accurate, we convert it into a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID). In this phase, we delve into component choices, such as component type, output possibilities, and various hygiene options. The same applies to material selection, where we consider the type, standard, matrix, execution, and finishing of the material. Finally, we conduct a Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP study), a Hygiene Risk Analysis (HRA), and a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
In this process, we provide several deliverables to the client. Examples of these include:
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram;
- Explanation and interpretation of conditions;
- Component list;
- Hygiene Risk Analysis;
- Necessary Cleaning and Disinfection requirements.
