Why?
After conducting a Piping Systems Walkdown, it is essential to implement the findings in practice. This is where P&ID Review & Adaptation comes into play. It offers opportunities for process optimization and sustainability. Besides, both quantity and quality can be enhanced.
Our Approach
At Jaspers Engineering, we follow a structured approach for every service, including P&ID Review & Adaptation. During the P&ID Review, our engineers evaluate the technical drawings of a process installation and assess the information on the drawing for accuracy and completeness. After the P&ID Review, we perform several checks: the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP Study), Hygiene Risk Analysis (HRA), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP). Based on this input, we provide several recommendations. The next step is to execute this advice.
The identified findings are incorporated into the current situation. Together with our clients, we implement the recommendations. This includes resolving deficiencies and making additions to the system, such as additional closures or hygiene-related measures.
After the optimizations, we provide an as-built drawing. This depicts the new situation after the execution of the work. In other words, it visually shows the realized condition, allowing for a comparison between the old and new situation, making the changes clearly visible.
