Why?
Sometimes, the actual layout of a factory may differ from its design, and it is crucial to identify these differences. Our engineers achieve this by conducting Piping Systems Walkdowns. The result is a safe and well-functioning factory.
Our Approach
At Jaspers Engineering, we have a structured approach for every service, including the execution of Piping Systems Walkdowns. First, we determine the client’s requirements. When doing this, we take into account the expected outcomes and User Requirement Specifications. On-site, we compare the actual hardware with the initial plan using a Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID; i.e., the factory’s blueprint). We also consider hygiene regulations, the condition of the equipment, and compliance with standards and guidelines. Based on this analysis, we provide recommendations for improvement.
These recommendations are key to identifying potential issues, conducting a process risk assessment, and planning future projects. We also assess cleaning requirements and perform a Hygiene Risk Analysis. From this plan, we determine the factory’s condition. The goal is to map out a clear strategy for optimizing the current situation.
